![]() Nones of December The SCA shire covering the counties of Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow, is currently formally known as the Shire of Lough Devnaree. As this name is intended to represent the whole island on a regional level, we are currently in the process of registering as our name, ‘Dun in Mara’ – the Fort of the Sea. We are mostly centred around Dublin city and its surrounding areas but open to everyone in our catchment area. Dun in Mara is a part of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), an international historical selective recreation group covering history up to 1600AD. For more detailed description of the Society and what we do, click here. (This will take you to the SCA.org website.) If you are interested in the SCA in this area, click here for details on how to get in contact with someone from Dun in Mara. Please note not all sections of the website are active as we are currently loading new content, images, and information for your Dublin SCA pleasure. |
