Champions of Lough Devnaree
Archery Shoot

To be eligible to become Archery Champion of Lough Devnaree you must use a period bow and wooden arrows(plastic nocks are permitted for health and safety reasons). The shoot will consist of four rounds each consisting of three ends of six, shot at 20, 30 and 40 yard ranges. Priority to shoot will be given on the day to those participating in the competition. Marshals' decision will be final.

There will be no sighters and the rounds will be as follows:

Round One
This will be a target round shot at 40 yards, using a 60cm FITA face, scoring five to one with a total of 18 arrows shot in three ends of six.

Round Two
This will be the same as Round One only done as a 30 second speed round with IKAC speed round rules applying.

Round Three
This will be a wand round shot at 30 yards scoring five and three. The wand will consist of an inner strip scoring five and two outer strips both scoring three. This will also consist of 18 arrows shot in three ends of six.

Round Four
This will be a "Vegas Bunnies" (see image below) round shot at 20 yards. A maximun of two arrows in each bunny will only be scored, and anybody scoring more than two arrows will only have their two highest recorded. Once more this will consist of 18 arrows shot in three ends of six.
