A Hunter's Feast

Good Gentles, the Shire of Eplaheimr invites you to gather and celebrate the noble and valiant art of the Hunt. Good sport, abundant food & drink and much merry making is to be had.
Practices and competitions in Fencing, Archery and Heavy will happen throughout the weekend. After lunch on Saturday a discussion/display of arts and sciences and a session of medival dancing will be run. A potluck feast will take place on Saturday evening, followed by a fire-lit bardic circle in the woods (if weather permits, in the hall if not)The evening will be capped by period games of chance and skill.
Various practices and activities will take place on Sunday morning.

Opening time/ending time – Site opens at 18.00 on Friday, with candles lit and revelling starting about 21.00. Site closes at 16.00 Sunday.
Food/Payment/Site Fee – There is no fee for our event, but we ask that you contribute something to the lunch/ feast and, if fortune allows, that you make some small donation to the shire coffers over the weekend to help cover heating/electricity etc.
Accomodation – Crash space can be provided if you contact the reservations steward. Please note, these are limited and are filling up fast.

PLEASE NOTE
Children - we welcome children of all ages. However, we must ask that they be supervised by a parent/designated guardian at all times. This particularly applies during mealtimes and while martial activities are running. This is to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attending. Your cooperation is requested and appreciated.
Pets - pets are only allowed by prior arrangement with the event steward.
Smoking - is only allowed in the designated area.
Alcohol - the site is wet.
Rubbish/Cleaning arrangements- Strict rubbish arrangements are in place
and we request your cooperation. We would also ask that as this is a private site, all rooms be left in a tidy condition. This is in order to reduce the burden on our hosts.
